I was pretty excited about getting my first apartment, but I was not looking forward to the process of actually finding it. If I had been less busy at the time, I probably would have taken my time and looked at each one I was interested in right there at the complex sites themselves. However, I was already working 50 hour weeks and juggling several other responsibilities in addition to my job, so I decided to do a search for apartments in midtown Atlanta to help me find the dream apartment that I knew was out there.

It actually worked out that I used this way to find my apartment because I was able to get a lot more details on each one than I would have if I had gone to each individual complex to look around. The neat thing about looking for apartments this way is that you can see pictures, all of the amenities for the community as well as each apartment, and so much more right from the websites for each one. Looking at the pictures is what I liked best, because I knew I was able to see a lot more because of that.

There was one apartment complex I really liked, so I looked at the floor plans for that one. I was hoping that there was a two bedroom unit available, and preferably one that had two bathrooms. I have a younger sister who would be visiting a lot once I get settled in, and I wanted her to have her own space there as well. Thanks to how quick I was able to get all of this information, I was able to find exactly what I needed within the first hour of looking. I was even able to do an application online, and I move in next week!
